Jennie "Sally" Alma Marshall

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Sally Jester Marshall, 97, will be held in the Miguez Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013 with Rev. Walter Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Raymond Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. Mrs. Marshall died at 9:25 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2013 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Marshall was a resident of Jennings and a member of the Raymond United Methodist Church and also a member of the United Methodist Womens Group. She enjoyed decorating for proms at school, gardening and making flower arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Jennie Lind King of Waterford, Ohio; two sons, Donald Howard Marshall and wife Carolyn of Ferriday; Harvey Dell Marshall and wife Linda of Hathaway; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Jeff Davis Living Center for the care they gave to Mrs. Sally.
