Jeanette Joyce Hebert

Jeanette Joyce Miller Hebert, passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on December 22, 1935, in Iota, Louisiana, Jeanette spent her life in the warm embrace of family and the loving community of Evangeline, Louisiana, where she made her home.

As a dedicated homemaker, Jeanette found joy in caring for her family and creating a warm, nurturing environment. She was a sweet soul, known for her loving and caring nature. Jeanette cherished every moment spent with her family, from cooking hearty meals to enjoying camping trips filled with laughter and fun. Her love for social gatherings was evident in her enjoyment of playing bonkos with friends and family, where her joyful spirit truly shined.

In her quieter moments, Jeanette found peace and happiness in her flower beds and would often spend hours watching the hummingbirds flit about, a testament to her love for nature's beauty. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew her.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Dwayne) Gary; her son, Dwight (Donna) Hebert; and her cherished grandchild, Dustin Hebert.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on Monday April 27, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM and will continue untill 1:00 PM. A rosary will be recited in the chapel at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM, with Father Nathan Comeaux officiating her services. She will be laid to rest in Gatte Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Jeanette Hebert will be profoundly missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched with her sweet soul and unwavering love.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Hebert and her parents, Elridge and Helen Miller.
