Funeral services for Mrs. Janell Ann Sonnier, 62, of Jennings, will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.  Entombment will be in St. Anthony Mausoleum under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Sonnier will begin at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023, and continue until the service time at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sonnier was born on August 29, 1961, to Dave Hebert and Gladys Lyons Hebert in Jennings.  After high school, she married Timothy Sonnier and spent her time taking care of her husband and three sons.  She was a very loving and nurturing person and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Shawn Hebert (Crystal), Joshua Hebert and Dustin Sonnier; eight sisters, Caroldine Broussard, Diana Guidry, Kathy Duprie, Gail Thibodeaux, Sheila Stroder, Lorrie Buller, Polly Hebert Carolyn Holland; four brothers, Larry Hebert, Donald Hebert, Jim Stroder and Michael Stroder; stepmother, Margaret Hebert; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Sonnier; her parents; two sisters, Linda Hebert and Geraldine Knighten; six brothers, Kenneth Hebert, Anthony Hebert, Barry Myers, Roland Hebert, Danny Stroder, Kenneth Stroder; and a godchild, Tressa Hoffpauir.
