James "Jim" Whittington

The family of James “Jim” Lee Whittington, 63, of Jennings announces his passing on March 25, 2024. The family is honoring his wishes of cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Jim was born on October 30, 1960, to Alvie and Helen LeBlanc Whittington, in Magnolia, MS. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Machinery Technician from which he retired. He often enjoyed playing cards and spending time at the shooting range. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them. In his spare time, you could often find him working on his property.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Charlotte LeJeune Whittington; sons, Justin Whittington and Jacob (Christine) Whittington; one grandchild, Emma Whittington; sister, Mary (Wayne) Nunnery; and a host of extended family friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
