Funeral services for Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Canik will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Belt officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, and from 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be in the Istre Cemetery.

Ms. Canik was a member of Our Savior’s Church. She was a housekeeper at Jennings American Legion Hospital and a 1976 graduate of Jennings High School.

Survivors include her two daughters: Shawn “Nicki” Breaux and her husband Brian of Morse, LA; and Lyndsay Canik of Jennings; her sister Geri Miller and wife Carol of Morse; brother, Keith Miller of Jennings and her precious grandchildren, Ali Kate and Carson Lott and Payton Cormier.

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.J. and Mildred Ardoin Miller and two brothers, Darrell and Gerald Miller.
