JENNINGS Mr. Hunter L. Granger, 43, died at 4:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at his residence in Jennings. His body was cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Granger was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a graduate of the Elton High School. He was an offshore production operator. He liked to play video games, had an avid interest in airplanes and attended all the fly-ins. He loved animals, loved football and enjoyed playing with his kids. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Lormand Granger of Jennings; three sons, Nicholas Hunter Granger, Hayden Michael Granger and Karter Joseph Granger all of Jennings; one sister, Robin Granger Bivin of Jennings; and two brothers, Jimmy Ray Granger and wife Cindy of Elton and Aaron Dewey Granger and wife Vicki of Hathaway, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Ray and Christine Grace Holt Granger and a niece, Shelby Christine Granger
