Hollisa Gay Barnes

Mrs. Hollisa Barnes, 48, died at 9:16 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.

Mrs. Barnes’ body was cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mrs. Barnes was a native of Hillsboro, Texas and a resident of Welsh. She worked in the medical field as an EMT.

Survivors include three sons, Christen Meyer of Welsh, Joshua Meyer of Welsh and Jacob Pope of Sulphur; her mother Cherie Richard Barnes.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bennie Barnes.
