Helen May Monger

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Helen May Cormier Monger, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bubba McCann officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m., Friday until time of services. Mrs. Monger died at 9:29 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Monger was a native of Lake Charles, resident of Jennings 65 years. She was a graduate of the Lake Charles High School and a member of Our Saviors Church. Mrs. Monger was a woman of prayer and great faith. Survivors include two sons, Alfred M. Monger, II and Karl W. Monger both of Jennings; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugena and Anna Doucet Cormier; her husband, Alfred Monger and one daughter, Cheryl Monger.
