Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Louise Guthrie Schuster, 85 will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Jennings with Rev. Brian Wells officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mrs. Schuster died at 2:18 p.m. on March 19, 2013 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Visitation on Friday will be from 8:a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Schuster was a native of Evangeline, LA and lifelong resident of Jennings, LA. She was a graduate of the Jennings High School Class of 1944, worked as a government clerk and was a member of the Jennings First Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters; Susan Daigle of Jennings, LA., Mary Anne Jones and husband Ricky of Jennings, LA., a sister; Stella Henry of New Orleans, LA., four grandchildren; Mandy Broussard, Shelby Jones, Darby Jones and Ali Jones, six great- grandchildren; Hailey Broussard, Mia Broussard, Jenna Broussard, Sagan Broussard, Aidan Jones and Amayiah Jones. Mrs. Schuster was preceded in death by her husband; Alfred Schuster, her parents; Lee Roy and Ella Cato Guthrie, six brothers; Willie, Arthur, Ben , John, Clarence and Howard Guthrie, a son-in-law; Glenn J. Daigle and two grandchildren; Jillian Brooke Daigle and Megan Alyse Daigle.
