Harry Leger

Memorial services for Mr. Harry “Bobby” Leger, 81, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 12, 2018 in the First Baptist Church of Welsh with Bro. Pat Deshotel officiating.

Mr. Leger’s wishes were to be cremated.

Fellowship for family and friends will be held immediately following the service in the church annex.

Mr. Leger died at 5:05 p.m., Sunday, August 5, 2018 in the Golden Age Nursing Home in Welsh.

Mr. Leger was a lifelong resident of Welsh and retired as a custodian. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Welsh.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Hebert Leger of Welsh; one daughter, Crystal Stelly of Welsh, one step-daughter, Sherral Guidry of Welsh; one step-son, Kevin Ewing of Welsh; one sister, Mary Ann David of Katy, TX; one brother, Johnny Leger of Lake Arthur; 5 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren.

Mr. Leger is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Nora Dugas Leger;1 son, Kenneth Leger; 1 step son, Timothy Ewing; 2 brothers, Allen Roy Leger and Robert Leger.
