Harold R Bertrand

Mr. Harold R. Bertrand, 79, of Lake Arthur passed away June 18, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Services will be Monday June 21, 2021, at 6:30 PM in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel. 

Visitation will be held from 3 PM until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. 

The family is honoring Mr. Bertrand’s wishes of cremation. 

Harold was born April 23, 1942, in Lake Arthur, Louisiana to Jerome and Elvie Marie Guidry Bertrand. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur where he retired as a pipefitter in the construction industry. 

Harold leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Eva Bertrand; his daughter, Nancy Duplechian; son, Allan Bertrand; sisters, Brenda Nunez and Vanessa Cormier; brothers, Willard Bertrand, Whalen Bertrand, Jerry Leger and J.C. Bertrand; he also leaves behind two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 Mr. Bertrand is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Elvie Guidry Bertrand; sisters, Virgie Veazey, Margie Clement and Vera Poole; and brother, Walter Bertrand.
