Mr. Harold Lee Richard, 72, died at 6:31 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 in residence.

A memorial service will held at a later date.

Mr. Richard’s wishes were to be cremated. Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richard was a 24 year resident of Elton moving there from Evangeline. He was a retired dragline operator. He was a member of the Elton Volunteer Fire Department and the Elton Police Department.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann LeJeune Richard of Jennings; one daughter, LaDonna Richard Klumpp of Crowley; and 6 grandchildren, Joey, Andrew, Benjamin and Abigail Klumpp and Harold Brent Richard Jr. And Jean-Luc Richard.

Mr. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, David and Sophie Lopez Richard and son Harold Brent Richard.
