Gorden St. Germain

A memorial gathering for Gorden St. Germain, 70, of Hathaway, LA, will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, LA. Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.

Gorden passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2026, in Lafayette, LA, surrounded by his loving family.

He lived his life devoted to his family, the memory of his late wife, and above all, his Savior. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in working with his hands, a gift that was evident throughout his career as a machinist. Whether he was crafting parts for aircraft or creating handmade crosses as expressions of his faith, he found purpose and joy in the work of his hands.

His greatest passions were sharing the Lord's Word, spending time with his grandchildren, and working outdoors. He was a devoted family man and a true friend to many. His strong faith, generous heart, hard work, and love for those around him left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him. His memory and the legacy of love he leaves behind will continue to live on in his family and all who knew him.

Gorden leaves behind a legacy that will be forever cherished by his children: Duane Landry, Erron (Michelle) St. Germain and Sarah (Roy) Miller; grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Raven, Briana, Zachary, Charlie, Luke, Bryson, Nevaeh, Jace, Vivvy, Aubrey, Emery and Lee Roy; four great grandchildren; his siblings, Sandra Mann, Sharon St. Germain, Winter Fontenot, Hillary (Helena) St. Germain and Ray (Charlotte) St. Germain; and a host of extended family and friends that will always rememebr the great man he was.

Gorden was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie St. Germain; parents, Emery St. Germain and Livian Fontenot St. Germain; and brothers, Dwight St. Germain and Harvey St. Germain.
