Mr. George Joseph Guidry, 82, of Lake Arthur passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Visitation for Mr. Guidry will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday March 17, 2018 and will continue until closing at 8:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Guidry was a high school graduate and served in the Navy on the Aircraft Carrier USS Midway during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW.

Mr. Guidry is survived by his wife Virginia Broussard Guidry; one daughter, Tracey (Jeffrey)Guidry; two sons, Jubal Guidry and Charlie (Suzanne)Guidry; seven grandchildren, Marcus, Elizabeth, Sarah, Blake, Matt, Courtney and Zoi’ Guidry; great grandchildren, Kainyn, Kylie, Emalin and Oakley; two special nephews, Troy and John Broussard and one adored niece, Sonya Williams.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oday and Melba Myers Guidry and one sister, Rose Guidry Broussard.
