Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Gertrude Authement, 86, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29,2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings with Pastor Dennis House officiating.

Burial will be in the Hayes Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.

Mrs. Authement died at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in the Jeff Davis Living Center in Jennings.

Mrs. Authement was a resident of Lake Arthur for 50 years moving here from Tyler, Texas. She loved to draw and sing gospel music.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda, Stella, and Julie; two sons, Doyle and Roby; two sisters, Irene (Leo) LaRocque of Lake Charles, and Stella Authement of Missouri; numerous grand and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Felonise LaComb Authement; two sisters, Celeste and Lula Mae Authement; and three brothers, Richard, Edward and Paul Authement.
