JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Marie Comeaux Spears, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2012 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Douglas I. Broyles officiating. Burial will be in the Ravey/Parsley Cemetery in Evangeline. Funeral home visitation was from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Monday; and 9:00 a.m. today, Tuesday until time of services. Mrs. Spears died at 8:12 a.m., Sunday, May 6, 2012 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Spears was a lifelong resident of Evangeline. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, cleaning and working in her yard. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Sexton of Starks; one son, Harold Miller and wife Sandra of Evangeline; two sisters, Shirley Graham and Willa Mae Duhon both of Jennings; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Opal Ravey Comeaux; husband Allie Miller; son, Allie Gentry Miller; daughter, Edna Faye Miller, one grandson, Jamie Sexton and one great-granddaughter, Maegan Stanley. Pallbearers will be Harold Miller, Dwayne Miller, DJ Miller, Tyler Stanley, Delbert Sexton and Matthew LeJeune.
