Dorothy Marie Hebert

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mrs. Nelson (Dorothy Marie Reed) Hebert, 70 will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited by the Catholic Daughters on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery in Basile, La. under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Mrs. Hebert died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 6:32 a.m. at her residence. She was a native of Basile and had live in Lake Arthur for the past 13 years. Mrs. Hebert was a retired Certified Nurse Assistant and was President of the V. F. W. Post #3244. She enjoyed working with Friends Helping Friends and doing volunteer work. She is survived by her husband; Nelson Adam Hebert of Lake Arthur, two daughters; Cynthia Bourgeois and her husband Michael and Rebecca Martin and her husband Paul all of Lake Arthur, two brothers; Eldon Reed and his wife Suzanne of Bandera, TX. And Hillary Reed and his wife Sally of Bridge City, TX, five grandchildren; Kimberly Holland, Hunter Constance, Tristan Broussard, Trent Thompson and Shanika Turner and six great grandchildren; Robert and Kevin Vincent, Kyle Vidrine, Makayla and Laylanie Turner. Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her parents; Corbert Reed and Louise Klumpp Lantz and a granddaughter; Regina Vincent.
