Mrs. Dorothy Pitts Hofstra, 98, died at 1:17 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings.

Mrs. Hofstra’s body was cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mrs. Hofstra was a native of Wynona, Oklahoma and a resident of Jennings. She was a retired hairdresser.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Alta Stevens Pitts, Sr.; her husband, Russell Hofstra; and two sons, Steve and Bryan Hofstra.
