Doris R. Guillory

Funeral services for Ms. Doris R.  Guillory, 89, of Jennings will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Wayne Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery in rural Basile, LA.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. rosary and will close at 9:00 p.m.  It will resume on Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service.

Ms. Guillory was born on February 6, 1933, in Basile to Harry and Denise Leger Doucet.  She worked as a manager at a group home.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Nancy Guidry of Lake Charles; sons, Clinton Guillory of Basile, Joe Guillory of New Iberia and Craig Guillory of Youngsville; twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Samuel Guillory, and Linton Guillory and three grandsons, Brian Guidry, Jared Guillory and Eric Guillory.
