Oct 5, 1956 — Aug 9, 2026

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Donald Anthony DeMolle, Sr., who peacefully left us on August 9, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on October 5, 1956, in Buras, Louisiana, Donald lived a vibrant life centered around adventure, family, and boundless love.

Donald was a devoted and deeply loving husband to his wife, Annette, sharing 44 wonderful years of marriage. Their beautiful bond was a true testament to love, partnership, and unwavering support. Together, they built a beautiful life, raised a beautiful family, and created countless memories that will be cherished forever.

As a passionate boat captain of his beloved vessel, the Anita D., Donald navigated the waters with immense skill and joy. While his heart truly belonged to the gulf, nothing compared to the fierce love he held for his family. He cherished his grandchildren above all else, always finding pure joy in their smiles and laughter. They were his pride and joy, illuminating his life in ways words simply cannot express.

Beyond his love for the sea, Donald was an avid collector who delighted in the hunt for hidden treasures, always eager to share the unique stories and joy behind them. His unforgettable, one of a kind spirit touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and kindness on all who knew him.

Left to treasure his beautiful memory are his beloved wife, Annette DeMolle; his children, Lena DeMolle, Donald DeMolle, Jr., Anita (Wesley) Williams and Ashley Silk; and his cherished grandchildren, Brayden (Addison) DeMolle, Dillon DiBartolo, Parker Williams, Oaklee Williams, Shaelynn Trahan, and Koby Pellegrin. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Joslyn Chenevert and Layton (Joyce) DeMolle, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who loved him deeply.

Donald is now peacefully reunited with his parents, Patrick and Anita DeMolle; his daughter, Angel DeMolle; his brothers, Timmy DeMolle and Eric DeMolle; and his brother in law, Clay Chenevert.

In honoring Donald's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. A gentle inurnment service will be held at a later date at West Lawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA.
