Dianne Deshotel Hyman

Funeral services for Mrs. Dianne Deshotel Hyman, 60 of Jennings will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Colson officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Hyman will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 and continue until time of service.

Mrs. Hyman was a chef in the restaurant industry. She was very kind and caring toward everyone she met. She also took care of many children and was known as a friend to everyone.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Edward Hyman; five daughters, Jessica Deshotel and Joann Deshotel of Evangeline, Tracy Hebert of Lafayette, Julia Myers of Egan and Danielle McFarlain Evans of Broussard; two sons, Andrew Hyman of New Iberia and Leric Istre, Sr. of Alabama; three brothers, James (Gail) Deshotel of Egan, Burley (Barbara) Thomas Deshotel, Jr. of Crowley; Joseph (Sandra) Deshotel of Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hyman was preceded in death by her parents, Burley Thomas and Elizabeth LeJeune Deshotel, Sr. and one brother, John Deshotel.
