JENNINGS

Funeral services for Destiny Paige Monger, 15, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Josh Belt officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of the service.

Destiny passed away at 3:14 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2018 in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.

Destiny was a lifelong resident of the Jennings/Evangeline. She loved watching cartoons, looking at her stars on the ceiling and listening to Christian children’s lullabies.

Survivors include her parents, Karl and Pasty Pierce Monger; two sisters, Nevaeh Hayes of Hathaway and Melissa Monger of Hathaway, who is Destiny’s birth mother; two brothers, Devan John Senegal of Ragley, Blake Anthony Monger of Hathaway; and her aunt, Rose Monger of Baytown, Texas.
