Denise Gerri Eastman

Funeral services for Miss Denise Eastman, 66, of Jennings will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Gotte officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Miss Eastman died at 11:20 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a Jennings High School graduate class of 1972. Her parents owned and operated Gem Jewelers in Jennings for many years. She was the granddaughter of Mr. G.I. Golden. She was a member of Living Word Assembly of God and a volunteer Pink Lady at the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Survivors include one sister, Dana Melton of Palm Springs, CA; one brother, Daniel Eastman, III of Lake Charles, LA; and caregivers, Katherine Rutledge and Elsie Howard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Hilda Golden Eastman.
