Debra Cormier

JENNINGS Funeral home visitation for Mrs. Dennis (Debra Ann Guidry) Cormier, 51, will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Thursday in the Miguez Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Cormier died at 9:45 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Cormiers body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. She was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Jennings 20 years. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with friends and her family but most of all her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Cormier of Jennings; three daughters, Heather Cormier, Kylie Crader and Amber Cormier all of Jennings; two sons, Kelly Cormier and Christopher Cormier both of Jennings; her mother, Rena Richard Guidry of Jennings; two sisters, Viola Guidry of Oakdale and Pam Sanders of Iowa, LA; and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Cormier is preceded in death by her father, Nelson Guidry I; one brother, Nelson Guidry II; two brothers-in-law, Danny Cormier and Kevin Cormier.
