Deborah "Debbie" Miller

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Debbie Millman Miller, 61, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday; and 8:00 a.m., Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Miller died at 9:55 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2011 in the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. Mrs. Miller is a native of Boston, MA, and a 30 year resident of Lake Arthur moving here from California. She was a homemaker, member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Allen Miller of Lake Arthur; three daughters, Kelly Ward Stewart of Lake Arthur, Melissa Miller Duplechain and husband Richard of Iowa, LA, Denise Miller Lyon and husband Gilbert of Lake Arthur; one son, Steven Ward and wife Melissa of Iota; one step-daughter, Lynelle Miller of Brentwood, CA; one step-son, Richard Miller of Stockton, CA; one sister, Vickie Vester of San Jacinto, CA; two brothers, Wayne Banning of Nuevo, CA, Steve Banning of California, and five grandchildren.
