David Paul Savoie

David Paul Savoie, 52, a devout Christian of Jennings, Louisiana returned to God on June 16, 2024.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 2 PM in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Tadlock officiating.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM and continue until the time of service.

Burial will take place in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

He was born in Galveston, TX on September 16, 1971, to Angelas “A. J.” Savoie and Wanda Stutes. Throughout his life, he loved spending time with family and friends. His biggest joy came when he became grandfather to his 4 grandkids.

He was a devoted Christian who cherished his Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. He attended Bethel Church of Jennings and took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Matthew Savoie and Joshua Sonnier (Danielle); brother, Jay Savoie (Theresa); sisters, Tina Savoie Allen and Angelina Thibodeaux; and his 4 grandchildren Alizabeth, Jaxon, Joel, and Luke along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was reunited in Heaven with his parents; children, daughter, Gabriella Savoie and son, Dawson Savoie; brothers Darrin and Timothy Savoie, niece Victoria Allen and many other loved ones.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matthew Paul Savoie, Lucas LeJeune, Nick Sav, Joshua Sonnier, Cody Wayne Savoie, Riley Chesson, Billy Watson and Ryan LeJeune.
