It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darren Wayne Ardoin, who left this world on July 25, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on May 18, 1988, in Gueydan, Louisiana, Darren was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and generous heart.
Darren loved fishing and spending time outdoors, relishing every moment he could share with his family and cooking meals that brought everyone together. He was a devoted member of Faith Life Church in Jennings, Louisiana, where he served as a preacher, inspiring others with his faith and kindness. A member of the Hell Hounds Motorcycle Club, Darren enjoyed the camaraderie and adventure that came with being part of a community that cherished friendship and loyalty. Darren's legacy is that of a person who loved life immensely and was always willing to help others. His laughter, heart, and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Darren is survived by his devoted wife, Megan Ardoin; his cherished children: Kaydence, Ryan, Landon, Noah, and Easton. He also leaves behind a loving mother, Natalie (Randall) Fruge; as well as his sisters, Demi Ardoin, Summer (John) Kelly, and Lacey (TC) Stillwell, and brothers Randy (Nichole) Miller, Johnathan (Devan) Ardoin, Travis Ardoin, and Randall Fruge, Jr. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law, Dylan and Gavin Lapoint; his mother and father-in-law, Burt and Melissa Lapoint; his grandmother, Dolores (Teeter) Menard; his grandfather, Wilbert Landry; numerous nieces and nephews; his godchildren; his special friends, Bonnie Zeno and Dianna Williams; and a host of extended family and friends that will never let his legacy be forgotten.
Darren was preceded in death by his father, Larry Ardoin; paternal grandparents, Judy and Donald Ardoin; and maternal grandmother, Charlotte Landry.
Funeral services to honor Darren will take place on Thursday July 30, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM, at Faith Life Church in Jennings, LA. A gathering of family and friends will take place on the same day at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Following his service, cremation will be held under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
As we gather to celebrate Darren's life and remember the joy he brought into our lives, we invite friends and family to join us in honoring a great man who loved fiercely and lived fully. Your presence will bring comfort and support to all who mourn his passing.
Serving Darren as pallbearers will be: Johnathan Ardoin, Randy Miller, John Kelly, Dylan Lapoint, Devin Landry, Ryan Ardoin, Landon Ardoin and Dakota Whitman.
