Darlene Prejean

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Darlene Prejean, a loving sister, aunt, and friend, who left us too soon on August 19, 2026, born on May 11, 1961, in Lake Arthur, LA.

Darlene brought warmth and kindness to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had such a big heart, always lending a helping hand and making everyone feel welcome. Whether it was a family gathering or a quiet day at home tending to her beloved plants, Darlene found joy in the simple moments spent with those she adored. Darlene's spirit will live on in the memories we shared and the love she spread.

Family was everything to Darlene. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, especially her brother Louis Prejean, sisters Cindy (Kenny) LaPoint and Patricia Romero, as well as her five nephews and four nieces, who were the light of her life, and her numerous great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Prejean and Mary Trahan Prejean.
