Jennings Funeral services for Mrs. Dalton (Darlene Hine) Landry, 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., today, Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mrs. Landry died at 3:30 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Landry was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a graduate of the Jennings High School. She was a member of the Jennings United Methodist Church and was a church choir member, member of the Square Shooters, Council on Aging, Parish Home Demonstration and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Dalton Landry of Jennings; three sons, Dale Landry and wife Birdie of Jennings, Darrell A. Landry and wife Angie of Jennings, Danny J. Landry and wife Selene of Moss Bluff; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
