Dallas Leger

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dallas James Leger. Dallas left us on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 35. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will never be forgotten.

Dallas was born on September 23, 1989, in Baytown, Texas to Earl James Leger ll and Jody Milum.

Dallas loved the outdoors and spending time fixing things. He enjoyed working on boats and trucks. He loved spending time with family and friends. Dallas was always ready to help someone in need. He was a son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Dallas left behind his father Earl James (Susan) Leger. His mother Jody Milum, brother Chance (Jordin) Smith. His nephew Cort Smith, Aunts, Uncles and cousins Amy, Abigail, Elizabeth, Caden, Andrew and numerous cousins on his mother's side.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Earl James Leger, Dolores V. Schoultz and Willie Schoultz, Miles W. Milum and Marilyn L. Milum. His Great grandparents Dallas Gatte and Devda Gatte and numerous Great Uncles and Aunts.

Visitation for Dallas will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025, in the Miguez Funeral home Chapel in Jennings, LA, beginning at 9:30 am until the time of service.

Funeral services will be held the same day at 1:00 pm, in the chapel with Brother Eric Crochet officiating. He will be laid to rest in Gatte Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
