Dale Broussard, Sr.

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Dale Broussard, Sr., 55, will be held at 8:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Celina Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Shell Beach Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday; with services at 8:00 a.m. Monday. Mr. Broussard died at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Broussard was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a gauger for the oil and gas industry. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Broussard of Gueydan and Jamie Waltrip of Crowley, one son, Dale Broussard, Jr. of Lake Arthur, his mother, Mildred Weekley Broussard of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Mona Broussard and Kristi Fontenot both of Lake Arthur; two brothers, Tony and Kirby Broussard both of Texas and five grandchildren, Sophie Broussard, Tyler Waltrip, Emma Broussard, Rhylee Istre and Raeah Waltrip. He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Broussard; brother, Kenny Broussard and sister Geraldine Broussard.
