Graveside services for Mrs. Clotile Ann Hebert Ryder, 81, of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, will be held Tuesday April 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., with Brother Jared Thomas officiating. Music selection will be sung by her granddaughter, Tiffany Ryder of Lake Arthur – Christian Musician, and will be I’ll Fly Away, Amazing Grace, In the Garden and Heavens Song. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.
Clotile was the last surviving child of Gaston and Mary Hebert of Cypress Point. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to garden, especially flowers of many different kinds. She also loved reading, watching tv and talking on the phone to family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by three daughters, Eula (Les) Armentor, Patty Ryder (Billy Trahan) and Joy Ryder (Chris Hayes), all of Lake Arthur; two sons, Robert (Donna) Ryder and Bryan Ryder (Sandra Constantin), both of Lake Arthur; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Ryder of Jennings; three sisters-in-law, Jean Ryder (Gerald Hobson) of Roanoke, Joyce Vaughn of Oil City, LA, and Rose Ryder Loftin of Duson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 63 years, Robert “Blackie” Ryder; brothers, Frank, Nelson, Thomas and Robert Hebert; sisters, Bertha Fuselier, Clara Spencer and Clarise Ryder; and two great angel grandchildren, Ember Kay Ryder and Kodie Beth Ryder.
Carrying her to her final place of rest will be Jacob Ryder, Steven Ryder, Jeremy Ryder, Joshua Ryder, Kyle Ryder and Collin Gary. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bubba Ryder, Bryan Ryder, Jace Ryder, Harvey Ryder, Logan Ryder and Nicholas Armentor.
Her family would like to express much appreciation to Lamm Hospice for the care they have given her.
