Lake Arthur
Clinton Robert LeFort suddenly left his earthly home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2021. The family will have a private service at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.
Clinton was born on June 22, 1955, the 5th of eight children, to Paul and Lois LeFort. He was a native of Lake Arthur. He attended Goretti High School and after receiving his high school diploma set out to pursue a Masters degree in music at LSU. After his graduation from LSU, he began his adventures.
Clinton spent his adult life seeking God, whom he loved with his whole being. He treasured his Catholic faith and strived to live a life pleasing to God.
Clinton was creative. As a teenager he played the guitar in a band called “The Shifting Gears”. As an adult, he took pleasure in playing his cello. He wrote many songs, both instrumental and with lyrics. He penned numerous religious books, sharing his knowledge and love of his faith. He enjoyed communicating prayers and scripture through his YouTube channel.
Clinton was a life-long learner. He had a gift with words and the heart of a saint. He was witty and had a great laugh. He will be greatly missed.
He was so happy to return back home to Lake Arthur in 2019. He loved the richness of his Cajun heritage and enjoyed the food of his childhood.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Lake Arthur.
He is rejoicing in Heaven with his parents, Paul and Lois LeFort, brothers, Paul Jr. and Bryon, sister, Pauline, brother in laws, Ruben Ransom and Jimmy Earl, and nephew, Adam Thibodeaux.
Clinton is survived by his sisters, Belinda Ransom and Naomi (Gregg) Stagg of Lake Arthur, Roxanne (Nelson) Yount of West Monroe, Rochelle (Paul) Thibodeaux of Broussard, and 17 nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank all those who helped our brother in the last 2 years. You made him feel welcomed and loved.
