Clifford Joseph “C.J.” DeMary Jr., 64, was born Dec. 12, 1954, and passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Golden Age of Welsh Nursing Home.

C.J. was a native of Hathaway, La., and a long-time resident of Crowley, La.

He loved to dance.

He is survived by his sister, Elsie Gann of Schriever, La.; brothers, Jerrell DeMary of Pontotoc, Miss., James and Donnie (Gail) DeMary, both of Hathaway, and Stanford DeMary of Jennings; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Sr. and Fern Landry DeMary; infant sister, Grace Marie DeMary; brother-in-law, Tim Gann; and sisters-in-law, Liz and Bert DeMary.

Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
