Mrs. Claudia Jean Strickland Johnson, 75, passed away peacefully at 5:00 p.m. on November 9, 2021, in a local care facility.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Oklahoma City, OK. She was a manager in the communication industry. She enjoyed cooking, gambling, playing poker and backgammon. She made the best chocolate chip cookies you ever tasted. She had a heart of gold and was a big giver.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jimmie Johnson, Daughters Jessica Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jordan Cormier of Jennings, LA; son, Doug Lewis of Oklahoma; sisters, Jeana Smith of Fort Worth, TX, Cathy Gottselig of Houston, TX, Gale Johnson of Moore, OK, and Sunny Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Gary Burrell of Moore, OK and grandchildren, Karver Cormier, Samuel Stevens, Ellie Lewis, and Joel Lewis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Edith Morrell Strickland and a sister, Petey Strickland.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
