Clarence Paul Hanks

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Paul (Dee Dee) Hanks, 77, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Douglas I. Broyles officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mr. Hanks died at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Hanks was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a commercial fisherman and trapper. He loved being on the water. Survivors include one daughter, Loretta Lynn Miller and husband Randall of Lake Arthur; one brother, Howard Hanks, Jr. of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren, Orry Miller, Shelby Miller, Randy Miller and Bryan Duhon; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Ashton Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Zula Kibodeaux Hanks, Sr.; his wife, Jayne Hanks; two sisters, Lucille and Marion Hanks; and one brother, Nelson Hanks.
