Charles Wilson Miller

Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Charles Wilson CW Miller, 83 will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Visitation will begin today, Sunday , October 23, 2011 from 2:00 p. m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mr. Miller died October 21, 2011 at 3:40 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Mr. Miller was a native of Evangeline and resident of Jennings. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church , a Navy veteran of World War II and a retired oilfield driller. Mr. Miller loved gardening and listening to his French music. He was always ready to help those in need. He is survived by two daughters; Charlene M. Gary and husband Arbey Lee of Jennings and Amelia M. Hewitt and husband George Joey of Katy, Tx., a son; Kenneth Miller of Jennings, a brother; Amos Miller of Jennings, a step sister; Marjorie Nell Connolly of MN., a step brother; Arthur Bubba Miller of Orange, Tx., four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife; Annie Davis Miller, his parents; Marius and Marian Davis Miller, three sisters and two brothers.
