Steve Williams

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charles "Steve" Williams, who left this world on March 30, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 3, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama, Steve was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

For over 50 years, Steve proudly worked as a crane operator in the construction industry, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. His commitment went beyond his profession; he was a man of faith, devoted to Jesus Worship Center, where he found community and strength throughout his life.

Steve cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Williams; his daughters, Lisa Williams (Shannon Benoit) and Stephanie Matherne (Kevin Rodriguez); his son, Steven Williams; his sister, Darlene Finley; his brother, Mike (Malorie) Williams; grandchildren, Santana Stratton (Craig Gilmer), Cameron Williams, Shelly Stratton and Jermiah Johnson; and five great-grandchildren. They will forever carry his love and teachings in their hearts.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Steve's life will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on Thursday April 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Steve will be laid to rest in St. Lawrence Community Cemetery.

In this time of loss, we invite all who knew Steve to gather in remembrance of a wonderful man who touched the lives of many. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family.
