Charles Wayne Simmons born August 1, 1958 in Kinder to his father Louis Cleveland Simmons who is passed away and his mother Janice Jeanette Buxton Simmons Horton who is still living and married to Harry Horton passed away on April 30, 2021 in his residence.

Still here to remember the strong, hardworking, and God-fearing man he was, is his brothers, David (Candy) Simmons of Deridder, Wally Simmons of Elizabeth; his sister, Lori (Terry) Tyson of Texas; his wife, Dedra Lynn Odom Simmons; four children, Jessica (Raymond) Benoit of Lake Arthur, Rachael (Mathew) Dozart of Eunice, Charles (Heidi) Simmons, ll. of Gueydan, Matthew Simmons of Lake Arthur; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandkids.

God has him in his arms, and we have him in our hearts.

Mr. Simmons will be cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
