Charles Wayne Guillory

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Charles Wayne Guillory, age 76 of Lake Arthur Louisiana. Mr. Wayne was a life long resident of Lake Arthur. He was born on March 10, 1950 and departed on August 13, 2026.

Mr. Wayne worked as a welder, after teaching himself, for years at the Roanoke Machine Shop, until retirement. He had a zest for life, enjoying Grit shows and spending quality time with his loved ones. Charles never turned down an opportunity to gather with his family, and those moments created countless memories that will be cherished forever. Charles was known for his generous spirit, always lending a hand to neighbors, whether it was cutting grass or sharing his mechanical knowledge.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Barbara Guillory, and his three daughters, Valarie (Olan) Mott, Jennifer Guillory, and Jessica Guillory. Charles was also a proud grandfather to Melissa Mott, Austin Mott, Blaze Duhon, Michael Prudhomme III, Kyra Landry, and Hollie Guillory, and a loving great-grandfather to Blakelyn Duhon, Mavrick Duhon, Gracie Mott, Kayzen Prudhomme, KyLee Prudhomme, and Khaija Wheeler.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Necole Guillory, parents EllianaThibodaux and Tanise Guillory Sr. and all 6 of his brothers.

Cremation has been entrusted under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
