Charles Guidry

Charles Guidry, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully from natural causes on February 25, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on September 6, 1954, in Jennings, Louisiana, Charles lived a full and vibrant life in Thibodaux, Louisiana, where he built not only a career but also countless cherished memories with his family.

For 50 wonderful years, Charles shared his life with his wife, Donna Guidry. Together, they raised a son, Dathan (Bridget) Guidry, and created a warm and loving home filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. Charles cherished time spent with his grandchildren, Justice (Corie) Guidry and Harper Guidry, who brought him endless joy.

In addition to his family life, Charles had a successful career as a Sales Manager in the retail industry. He was known for his dedication, work ethic, and the friendly rapport he built with everyone he met. Outside of work, Charles loved to unwind by spending time on his hobbies, particularly fishing and woodworking, where he found tranquility and satisfaction.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Luke (Debbie), Kirk (Peggy), Eddie, and Eloie Guidry, and a wide circle of friends and extended family whose lives he touched.

Funeral services for Charles will take place on March 2, 2026, at Miguez Funeral Home. The day will begin with a public viewing from 10:00 AM, followed by a Rosary at 1:30 PM. The funeral service will commence at 2:00 PM, celebrating his life and the love he shared with others. Afterward, he will be laid to rest at the Andrus Cove Cemetery in Jennings under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents: Dallas and Marie LeJeune Guidry, his brother, Jessie Guidry, and his sister in law, Donna Lynn Guidry.
