Bryan Kirk Lyons

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan Kirk Lyons, who left us on September 24, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on May 1, 1957, in Jennings, Louisiana, Bryan was a beloved member of the Lake Arthur community and will be sorely missed.

Bryan dedicated over 40 years of his life to his craft as the owner of Amber Construction. Known for his strong work ethic and commitment to quality, he was well-respected and touched the lives of many through his work. He loved nothing more than spending time outdoors, whether he was riding his motorcycle, farming, or taking friends deep-sea fishing. Bryan's laughter and zest for life made every gathering special and memorable.

Family was everything to Bryan. He is survived by his daughter Amber (Jarrod) Walker, his son Chad (Tasha) Shuff, and his cherished grandchildren Laicen Shuff, Hannah Shuff, Brayden Walker, Alyssa Walker, and his great-grandchild Noah Walker Pennartz. He is also survived by his brother Larry (Theresa) Lyons, nieces Roxanne Lincecum and Wendy Chrostek, and countless family and friends who will remember the joy he brought into their lives.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur, LA, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the same day at 1:00 PM with Reverend Dr. Paul "Curtis" Carroll Jr. officiating. He will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Josh Lincecum, Jeff Sawyer, Larry LaPoint, Ethan Reed, Aaron Boudreaux, Collin Hale, and honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Walker and Eli Lincecum.

As we gather to honor a great family man and a remarkable friend, let's remember all the good times, the laughter, and the love Bryan shared with us. He may have left this world, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Lyons and Marie Lyons, his loving wife Cindy Lyons, brothers Randy and Kasey Lyons, and his sister Christine Lyons.
