Bonnie Rae Marceaux

Sep 19, 1949 — Jul 19, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Rae Marceaux, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on July 19, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on September 19, 1949, in Cameron, Louisiana, Bonnie's journey through life was marked by profound love and an unwavering spirit.

Bonnie was a beautiful soul who loved to be surrounded by her family. Known affectionately as "Honey," she had a heartwarming presence that brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. Her spare time was often spent indulging in her passion for bingo and visiting the casino, where her vibrant spirit shone brightly. She was also a talented cook, often leaving behind handwritten recipes that will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

Her family was her true passion. Married for 34 wonderful years to her soulmate, James "Hoby" Marceaux, Bonnie is also survived by her children: Myka Hartwell, Robyn Hartwell, Jeremy Marceaux, Rusty (Michelle) Marceaux, and Jamie Marceaux. She was also a cherished grandmother to Abigail Myers, and Ian Marceaux U.S. Marine, who were the light of her life.

A compassionate and nurturing person, Bonnie's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, Louisiana on Wednesday July 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Sister Abby Salazar officiating. Public viewing will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of service that same day. She will be laid to rest in Gueydan Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

We invite all who knew Bonnie to join us in celebrating her extraordinary life and the love she shared with each of us.
