LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Billy Joe Lawson, 32, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2008 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Dr. David Savage officiating. Burial will be in Hayes Cemetery, Hayes, LA. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., today, Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mr. Lawson died at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2008 at his residence in Bell City. Mr. Lawson was a native of Xenia, Ohio and resident of Bell City for seven years moving there from Forked Island. He was a carpenter for a construction company and a member of the BTW Wizard Chapter. Survivors include his wife, Lacey Lavergne Lawson of Bell City; three daughters, Toni Lawson of Jennings, Kacie Lawson of Kaplan and Hannah Joe Lawson of Crowley; one son, Jaydon Kent Lawson of Hayes; his parents, Rodney Kent Lawson of Bulls Gap, TN and Denise Katheleen Milburn Broussard of Hayes; two sisters, Regina Collins of Bulls Gap, TN and Tammy Matherine of Lake Arthur; one brother, Randy Lawson of Winter Haven, FL; paternal grandparents, Garnet and William Milburn of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
