Beverly Jeanne Scoggin

Memorial services for Mrs. Beverly Jeanne Fontenot Scoggin, 70, of Jennings will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jered Thomas officiating.  Cremation will follow under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. and continue until service time at 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Scoggin was born on July 17, 1952, in Jennings to Hubert and Mildred Bergeaux Fontenot.  She was a lifelong resident of Jennings and graduated from Jennings High School.  She worked as a Quality Supervisor in the garment industry for Glen Oaks Sewing Factory for many years.  Her cats were her very special loves.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 47 years, Anthony Paul Scoggin; a sister, Judy (Mike) Dupuis of Jennings; and a brother, Darrell (Katie) Fontenot of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glen Fontenot.
