Ben was an awesome brother, uncle, father, son, but most of all a friend. He loved the outdoors and if there was a fire, Ben was in. He enjoyed traveling and lived in more than a few places from Seattle Washington to Gulf Shores, Alabama, where he excelled at becoming a wonderful sous chef. Ben had an unbreakable bond with his brothers and sister. Robin was there for him from when he was born until he left. He helped his brother, Dusty and was a part of the very popular "Jennings Rearview" publication in which he was proud to be a part of and so were we.

He traveled the country with his brother Scott over 15 years where an unbreakable bond was formed and still remains. His mother loved him dearly and was there for him no matter what. He loved baseball but most of all the Saints. His mood for the week would be set by the Saints latest score. There was one thing Ben loved more than life itself and that was his awesome son, Gavin. He would have crawled through glass to make him happy. Everyone who knew and ever met Ben knows how great a person he was, and he will never be forgotten. He will always be loved dearly and never forgotten.

Ben is survived by his loving mother and step-father, Juanita (Larry) Broussard; his cherished son, Gavin Chaisson; his siblings: sister, Robin (Scott) Milner and brothers, Dustin and Brandon Scott; his nieces and nephews, Avery Chaisson, Cassie Doucet, Max Chaisson, Molly Milner and Madison Richard; a great niece on the way, Soren Faye; and a host of extended family and friends that will always cherish their memories of him. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harrell "H.G." Chaisson.

Carrying him to his final place of rest will be Scott Chaisson, Max Chaisson, Celsey Edmondson, Ashley Cloud, Jefferey "Tattoo" Spell and Blake Deaville. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chet Hannon and Dusty Chaisson.
