Belinda Sue LaFosse, 51, of Elton passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home.  Ms. LaFosse chose to be cremated and her family is abiding by her wishes. 

She was born on April 10, 1967 to Johnny Scoper and Evelyn Hanks.  Ms. LaFosse was a high school graduate.  She worked as a prison guard in the federal prison system.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Scoper and Evelyn Hanks; and a daughter, Heather LaFosse.

Those left to mourn her passing are two daughters, Traci and Maci LaFosse, both of Lake Arthur; one brother, Johnny Scoper;  two uncles, Leroy and Hillard Hanks and one aunt, Mary Joyce Hanks.
