It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Mae Broussard, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on April 21, 2026, at the age of 93.
Born on January 22, 1933, in Morse, Louisiana, Annie dedicated her life to her family and was known for her warmth and compassion. She was a talented cook, especially enjoying Sundays spent in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. Her sweet soul brought joy to all who knew her, and she created countless cherished memories through her cooking and family gatherings. Annie had a zest for life that was evident in her love for dancing and traveling with her husband and her time spent at the casino and playing cards such as pokeno, where she enjoyed the excitement and camaraderie.
Annie was the matriarch of her family, survived by her daughters, Susan (Jeffery) Tall and Judy (Herb) Doucet; her son, Daniel (Sandra) Broussard; eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness.
Visitation will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, LA, on Saturday April 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the time of service. A rosary will be held in the chapel at 12:30 PM, with a funeral service following the rosary starting at 1:00 PM. Father Anil Alexander will officiate the funeral services.
