Anna Marie Leger, a loving wife and devoted mother, passed away peacefully at her home in Campti, Louisiana, on October 5, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on January 14, 1971, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Anna lived a life filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys of nature.
Anna was known for her infectious spirit and passion for life. Her favorite moments were often spent outside on her porch, sipping coffee and enjoying the beauty that surrounded her. A dedicated homemaker, Anna found immense joy in caring for her loved ones, and her home was always a haven of warmth and comfort. She held her grandkids close to her heart, nurturing their dreams and celebrating their lives.
Her passion for life extended beyond her family; she adored her dogs, who brought happiness and companionship into her day-to-day life. She will be remembered as a beacon of love and positivity, always full of life and ready to embrace the world around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Leger; her children, Ariel Taylor, Wallace Fontenot and Jory Fontenot. She was a cherished grandmother to Grayson, Theodore, Shannon, Carson, and Elodie, who filled her life with immense joy. Additionally, Anna is survived by her brother, Chris Myers; sisters, Jessica Mapel and penny Mapel; along with many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends that will forever cherish their memories of Anna.
In honor of Anna's beautiful life, a gathering of family and friends will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, LA, on Thursday October 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Following the gathering, the family has chosen to honor her wishes of cremation.
We will forever hold Anna in our hearts, grateful for the joy she brought into our lives and the love she so freely gave.
