Angelos Savoie

Lake Arthur Graveside services for Mr. Angelos Joseph Savoie, 76 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 in St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur with Brother Larry Myles officiating. Mr. Savoie died Friday, July 26, 2013 at 7:10 p.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Savoie was a native of Klondike, LA and a resident of Jennings. He was a Marine and Army veteran and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mr. Savoie loved to hunt and spend time with his family. He is survived by two daughters; Tina (Richard) Allen of Jennings, LA and Angelina Thibodeaux of Creole, LA, four sons; Darrin (Karen) Savoie of Sulphur, LA, Timothy (Dawn) Savoie of Iowa, LA, David Savoie of Sulphur, LA and Jay (Teresa Jones) Savoie of Jennings, LA, two sisters; Bonnie (Robert) Broussard of Poteet, TX, and Verna (Leroy) Breaux of Clute, TX, a brother; John Savoie of Winnie, TX, 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Savoie was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ena David Savoie and a sister, Helena Elkins.
